Mizad Funkzion Entertainment, LLC is an independent film production company founded by Baron Mak and Tabitha Ross-McLean, dedicated to creating compelling original content through bold, authentic storytelling.  We are committed to producing impactful short and feature films, documentaries, award shows, web series, pilots, and television series that elevate creativity, celebrate culture, and connect with audiences worldwide.  At the heart of everything we create is a passion for storytelling, and a dedication to artistic excellence.

Baron Mak

Director/ Cinematographer/ Producer

Baron McLean, a Brooklyn, NY native, has been immersed in the film industry since 2013. He began his creative journey by shooting and editing his own music videos, a pursuit that sparked his enduring passion for filmmaking. Over the years, Baron has developed a deep appreciation for every aspect of the craft. Fascinated by every stage of the creative process, Baron draws inspiration from a diverse range of film genres. He finds great joy in expressing his creativity through editing and in mastering the art of storytelling.

Tabitha Ross-McLean

Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Producer

 
Tabitha Ross-McLean leads operations at Mizad FunkZion Entertainment, ensuring the company runs with structure, efficiency, and executive-level precision.  With a B.S. in Business Administration, she oversees daily production coordination, streamlines internal workflows, and support teams from planning through final delivery.  She negotiates and drafts contracts, manages key business processes, and strategic operational leadership across the organization.  A strategic thinker with a detail-oriented approach, Tabitha helps drive scalable growth while keeping every project aligned, organized, and execution-ready.
